Research Director

Dr. Elizabeth B. Miller is an assistant professor at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She received her BA in Economics from Columbia University, Ed.M. in Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and Ph.D. in Education Policy and Social Context from the University of California, Irvine. She specializes in early childhood policy, with her research focusing on interventions to improve school readiness for low-income children, with particular attention to Dual Language Learners. She has recently expanded her work to include programs for infants and toddlers (0-3 years) and currently serves as the research director for SMART Beginnings.
