Dr. Katherine Guyon-Harris, with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, specializes in Infant Mental Health. She completed her training at Tulane University, focusing on parent-child relationships during the perinatal period. Her work aims to develop accessible parenting support for caregivers facing mental health challenges, trauma, and substance use. Her research explores parent-child attachment and the impact of perinatal mental health on parenting. As a Co-Investigator on SMART Beginnings, she supports the program’s implementation in a pediatric primary care clinic at the University of Pittsburgh.
